One of my friends has recently turned me on to blipfoto. It is a site that hosts numerous photo blogs. These are blogs just like this one that include only photos and related commentary and none of the textual blathering you find here and elsewhere. The interesting thing is that each photographer posts at whatever frequency and so you can peruse the site and see what pictures other people are taking. You look at some photos and cannot help but wonder what the person was thinking and others are spectacular.
The coolest thing about blipfoto is that you can subscribe with your normal RSS feed reader and so a thumbnail of the posted picture will apear in your reader. This lets you effectively track multiple blipfoto feeds in a fast and efficent manner. I am currently subscribed to my friend MM’s feed. She takes some great photos, but I am not sure if she would appreciate me posting her URL here. If she approves (Are you reading this MM?), I will post the URL in the future.
I am now trying to figure out how I can find time for a blipfoto blog while I maintain two other blogs. Hmmm, I am not sure if this is in the cards.
