Red Sox

It has been all over the local papers and ESPN that the Daisuke Matsuzaka deal might not get done. As I previously posted, the Red Sox bid a serious amount of money to negotiate with him. It would be disappointing to me if they were unable to reach an agreement. The reality is that the Red Sox desperately need pitching and losing DM would be a big disappointment. The Sox need pitching and if they lose this opportunity, they will be in a difficult position. Of course, the issue continues to be cost for DM which is further impacted by a potentially excessively greedy agent. We will see what happens, but it will certainly be frustrating if the opportunity does not come to fruition.
