ALCS – End of the road

Well that’s it. The Red Sox just lost. How depressing though I must say that I foresaw this in a previous post; I just assumed that it would end sooner than it did.

I really question some of the actions of Grady Little. It became clear in the 7th that the Yankees were beginning to hit Martinez and yet Grady did nothing. He left Martinez in the game onyl to get shelled in the 8th inning. As I have mentioned before, Timlin has been playing well out of the bullpen for the Sox. Why would not bring him in when Pedro began to falter? Isn’t it better to be pro-active than reactive? Unfortunately, Little does not believe in this philosophy and instead left Martinez in there only to squander the 3 run lead.

Come on people!
